Biography
Olivier DE DECKER is a civil servant, serving as Senior Adviser at the International Relations Service of the Parliament of Wallonia since September 2024 and also as Administrative Secretary of parliamentary committees since June 2019. He served as Head of the International Relations Directorate from February 2012 to June 2019 and as Attaché at the External Relations, Protocol and European Affairs Service from September 2010 to January 2012. He was European Affairs Officer at Research In Brussels from October 2009 to August 2010, and Attaché at the European Department of the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium from March 2006 to September 2009. He holds an interuniversity Advanced Studies Diploma (DEA) in Sociology and Anthropology, as well as a Master’s degree in Political Science (International Relations).
