Biography
She graduated from Üsküdar Amerikan Lisesi and completed her LL.B. with honors at University of Warwick in 2007. In 2008, she completed the equivalency program at Istanbul University Faculty of Law. She earned her LL.M. in International Trade Law with honors from London School of Economics and Political Science in 2010.
She worked at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and at various law firms, including four years at an international law firm in Istanbul.
She was elected as Member of Parliament for Antalya in the 25th, 26th and 27th legislative terms. During her tenure, she held several international parliamentary roles, including positions within AGİTPA and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. She continues to serve as Deputy Chair of Foreign Relations at AK Party Headquarters.
She is fluent in English and has basic knowledge of Arabic.
