Holds a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures from the University of Porto, a postgraduate qualification in Education from the University of Minho, a Master’s degree in Portuguese Language and Literature Teaching from UTAD, and an Advanced Studies Diploma in Public Policy from ISCTE, where she is a doctoral candidate. Teacher and teacher trainer, mother of two. Awarded cultural merit distinctions and author of the Dictionary of Trasmontanisms.
