James Geoghegan TD (member of parliament) is a former Lord Mayor of Dublin and now represents the constituency of Dublin Bay South as the Fine Gael TD for the area. A practising barrister for over a decade, James was elected to Dáil Éireann (directly elected parliament in Ireland) in November 2024 and was elected Vice Chair of the AI Oireachtas (parliament) Committee in June of 2025. He also serves on the powerful Public Accounts Committee. James and his wife Claire have three children together.
