All-Party Parliamentary Group on Artificial Intelligence (APPG AI)
Professor Birgitte Andersen leads the APPG AI Secretariat (UK Parliament) and supports parliamentary engagement on artificial intelligence and technology policy. She is CEO and Founder of Big Innovation Centre, an independent innovation think tank, and Professor at Birkbeck, University of London. With more than 25 years of experience in innovation economics and the strategic management of innovation and intellectual property, she advises governments, businesses and international organisations on the governance and societal impact of intellectual property, AI and emerging technologies. She has led major research and policy initiatives on AI, digital transformation and innovation ecosystems, and is an internationally recognised speaker on responsible AI, innovation policy and technology-driven economic growth.
