Biography
President of the Standing Parliamentary Delegation for Participation in OECD Activities
Erich Ettlin (*1962) is a certified Business Economist, Accountant and Tax Advisor. He has been a member of the Council of States since 2015 and represents The Centre party. At present, he is president of the Economic Affairs and Taxation Committee as well as of the Standing Parliamentary Delegation for Participation in OECD Activities. He also sits on the Finance Committee, the Social Security and Health Committee and the Drafting Committee, which he currently chairs. In addition to his parliamentary activity, Erich Ettlin is a partner at BDO, a leading audit, business services and advisory firm in Switzerland. From 1996 to 2001, he was head of the Obwalden cantonal tax administration.
