Biography
Bureaucrat. Graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration. Completed a master’s in Local Governments and Decentralization at the same university and an MBA at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Received a PhD from Istanbul University with a dissertation on local employment.
Worked in the U.S. at Florida State University College of Business as a researcher, specialist, and project coordinator in management and organization. Appointed as Prime Ministry Advisor in 2009. Served five years as Head of the Sports Toto Organization. In the first cabinet of the Presidential Government System, served five years as Minister of Youth and Sports. Member of the World Anti-Doping Agency Foundation Board. Contributed to hosting many international sports events in Türkiye and supported projects for youth, anti-addiction efforts, sports development, and youth employment.
