Biography
Chonlathan “Ice” Supphaiboonlerd is a progressive Member of Parliament from Thailand dedicated to human rights, the rule of law and protecting civic space. Holding an LL.B. from Thammasat University and an LL.M. in Public International Law from Leiden University, he brings legal expertise to his legislative duties.
Prior to becoming a Member of Parliament, he worked with the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ), UNHCR, Hanns Seidel Foundation and Asylum Access Thailand.
Chonlathan “Ice” is committed to protect representative democracy and is currently serving as a member to the Committee on the Human Rights of Parliamentarians at the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
