Biography
State Engineer in Computer Science and Director of Communication and Information Systems at the House of Representatives, I have over twenty-five years of experience in information technology, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and communication within a strategic public institution.
Holder of a State Engineer degree in Computer Science obtained in 1996 from the National Higher School of Computer Science and Systems Analysis (ENSIAS, Rabat), I strengthened my technical background with management training: a Higher Management Cycle Diploma from ISCAE (Rabat, 2007) and a training program on modern management techniques at Al Akhawayn University (Ifrane, 1998), giving me a multidisciplinary profile that combines technical expertise with managerial skills.
I began my career at the Ministry of Finance (DTFE) from 1996 to 2000 as Project Manager, responsible for Internet/Intranet, network and system administrator, and developer of several applications. I then joined the House of Representatives, where I successively held the positions of Head of the IT Service (2000-2007), Head of the Information and Communication Division (2007-2015), and then General Engineer in charge of Information and Communication (2015-2020).
Since 2020, I have served as Director of Communication and Information Systems, heading three divisions: the Information Systems Division, the Communication Division, and the Documentation Division. In this capacity, I lead several projects within the framework of the "Electronic Parliament": developing a new digital transformation strategy, implementing an information systems security plan, developing applications and upgrading IT infrastructure, and developing an AI strategy at the House of Representatives. I also chair the committee on the right of access to information and serve as an expert in electronic parliament and parliamentary communication for the IPU and the APF.
I am fluent in Arabic, French, and English, both written and spoken.
