Biography

Paolo Marcheschi began his political career in 1994 with Forza Italia, where he served as provincial coordinator in Florence and then as national councilor. He served as regional councilor for Tuscany (2001-2015), city councilor for Scandicci (2009-2010), and regional secretary of the People of Freedom party from 2010, before joining Brothers of Italy in 2012. He has been a member of the Senate of the Republic since October 2022, serving with Brothers of Italy. He is a member of the Committee on Culture and Cultural Heritage, Public Education, and the Parliamentary Committee for the General Direction and Oversight of Radio and Television Services. He has been a member of the Italian Delegation to the NATO Assembly since 2023; he is currently a member of the Committee on Economy and Security. Paolo Marcheschi was born in Florence on March 23, 1961. He has a degree in Law and is an insurance agent.
