Biography
Alejandro Toro Ramírez is a Colombian Member of Congress, public administrator, business administrator, and holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Guglielmo Marconi (Italy). He is a geopolitical analyst and columnist with more than 200 articles published in national media outlets.
He has promoted legislative initiatives on artificial intelligence and is the author and rapporteur of a bill proposing the prohibition of lethal autonomous weapons systems in Colombia.
He previously served as a Member of the Andean Parliament and is currently a member of the Latin American Parliament (Parlatino). His professional trajectory combines public service, political analysis, and international research, having participated as a speaker and researcher in 30 countries across four continents.
His work focuses on artificial intelligence, power, democracy, and geopolitics from a critical Latin American perspective.
