Alex Read is as a consultant on AI policy for the IPU. He has 17 years of experience in parliamentary strengthening, including leading projects for UNDP in Lao PDR and Myanmar. His work focuses on facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experience between parliaments on AI policy, including parliamentary actions on legislation and oversight of AI, supporting parliamentary engagement in international AI governance initiatives, organizing events and producing knowledge products.
