Biography
Carlo Marchetti, PhD is Director of the Office for Organization and Innovation at the Italian Senate. He served as Head of IT from 2022 to 2026 and previously led the Office for Information Systems Development from 2008. In 2014 his remit expanded to include technical coordination with the Chamber of Deputies and other Institutions. Over his long parliamentary career, begun in 2004, he has overseen the development and governance of information systems supporting parliamentary work, institutional communication, and internal document and collaboration platforms. He coordinated numerous digital transformation projects and promoted the introduction of innovative technologies, including artificial intelligence.
