I currently work as a researcher at King Prajadhipok’s Institute, supporting legislative and policy research related to Thailand’s engagement with the OECD. The Institute serves on the Parliamentary Advisory Council on OECD accession and provides academic advice to the Thai Parliament. My responsibilities include providing legislative and policy support on OECD-related matters, contributing to research on public governance and democracy, and coordinating with parliamentary committees and government agencies.

Biography

Waranphat KIRANAWAT is an interdisciplinary social science researcher whose work focuses on public administration, international relations, area studies, governance, and public policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in French from Thammasat University and Master of Arts in Korean Studies from Chulalongkorn University. She is currently pursuing a fully funded Ph.D. in Korean Studies at Chulalongkorn University. Her research examines governance, international cooperation, development, and security, particularly in East and Southeast Asia. In addition to her academic work, she serves as a contact point for OECD-related cooperation and interagency coordination in Thailand, facilitating communication between government agencies and parliamentary-level stakeholders.
