10th Anniversary OECD Latin America and the Caribbean Regional Programme

Watch the replay

In 2026, the OECD Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) Regional Programme (LACRP) marks its 10th anniversary — a decade of supporting the region in advancing its reform agenda. Created in 2016 in response to growing demand for engagement between LAC countries and the OECD, the Programme has focused on four key priorities: increasing productivity, enhancing social inclusion, strengthening institutions and governance, and, since 2021, environmental sustainability.

This milestone reflects a shared commitment to addressing the region’s challenges and opportunities through collaborative efforts. The commemorations will have three key milestones: an official ceremony at the OECD Headquarters in the context of the 2026 Ministerial Council Meeting, followed by this OECD-LAC Ministerial Dialogue of Foreign Affairs Ministers, and the annual Ministerial Summit in the region, which will convene Ministers of Economy in Uruguay towards the end of the year.
