Biography
Member of Ukraine’s Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe
Lesia Zaburanna is a Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine representing Kyiv since 2019 and serves as Vice-Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Budget and Chair of the Subcommittee on Public Expenditures. She is Chair of the parliamentary group on inter-parliamentary relations with Canada and a member of the group on relations with the United States, actively strengthening Ukraine’s strategic partnerships and bipartisan cooperation. Lesia is also a member of Ukraine’s delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, promoting human rights, democracy, and the rule of law. She contributes to Presidential working groups on establishing a Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression and ensuring the safe return of deported Ukrainian children. Domestically, she supports vulnerable communities through charitable and entrepreneurship initiatives.
