Biography
Valentina Grippo is an Italian Member of Parliament and Vice President of the Culture, Education and Sport Committee of the Chamber of Deputies. She serves as General Rapporteur on media freedom and the safety of journalists at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. With a background in cultural policy, archives and libraries, her work focuses on freedom of expression, access to information, education, culture, inclusion and disability rights, as well as the protection of journalists. She has contributed to international debates on balancing national security with the right to information and is actively engaged in European liberal networks and institutional cooperation, promoting democratic standards, cultural development and fundamental rights at national and international level.
