Aurélie Czekalski has been a Member of the Brussels Parliament since May 2019 and serves as a municipal and police councillor in Uccle. Born in Tournai, where she completed her secondary education, she holds a degree in Political Science (International Relations) and a Master’s degree in European and International Law of Defence and Security. She has lived in Brussels since 2007.
Elected to the Municipal Council in October 2018, she is actively involved in her municipality. She also chaired the Service ucclois de la jeunesse for around ten years.
She is particularly committed to the fields of social care, disability and health prevention, and works towards a more inclusive and supportive society. Very active on the ground, she regularly meets with residents, as well as entrepreneurs, self-employed workers and associations, in order to remain attentive to their realities and to inform her work in Parliament and in the Municipal Council of Uccle.
