Biography
Gergana Ivanova is the head of Secretariat at the Parliamentary Network on the World Bank & International Monetary Fund (PN), a global non-governmental organization dedicated to strengthening parliamentary engagement in international development and financial governance. In her role, Gergana works at the intersection of global finance, development policy, and democratic accountability. She facilitates dialogue between parliamentarians and international financial institutions, helping ensure that decision-making processes at the World Bank and IMF are informed by national priorities and grounded in transparency. Gergana has contributed to creating platforms where policymakers can exchange best practices on economic governance, debt sustainability, climate finance, and social investment. She regularly convenes parliamentarians, development practitioners, and institutional leaders to foster constructive engagement on pressing global challenges.
