Biography
Chair - Joint Oireachtas Committee on Social Protection, Rural and Community Development
Elected as A TD (Member of Parliament) for Cork North-West in the 34th Dáil in November 2024. Currently, Chair of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Social Protection, Rural and Community Development. I am also a member of the Budgetary Oversight Committee and Committee on Drugs Use. Became a member of Cork County Council in June 2009 and subsequently reelected in 2014, 2019 and 2024. Outside of politics, I am an active member of a number of community and voluntary bodies.
