Elected to the Assemblée nationale du Québec in 2018 and re-elected in 2022, Claude Reid is currently Assistant Government Whip. He holds an MBA from the Université de Montréal. Prior to entering politics, he served as Director of Communications at the Caisse Desjardins de Salaberry-de-Valleyfield and at the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec. He also served as Chair of the Board of Directors of Moisson Sud-Ouest from 2010 to 2018 and as a municipal councillor from 1999 to 2007.
