Biography
Nelcy Lidia Heidinger Ballesteros.
She was born in Pozuzo, Oxapampa, Pasco, Peru. She studied at IE Tupac Amaru, CEO Lennys, and Centro de Estudios Patri. She has worked in both the private and public sectors.
She was elected to Congress with the APP party. Her political life is inspired by her family background, social justice, love for multi-ethnic traditions, and respect for culture.
In 2023, she chaired the Health and Population Commission, with the aim of improving the health system, primary care, and access to comprehensive quality services. She coordinates efforts with three levels of government, strengthening citizens' fundamental rights to access better public services, promoting connectivity, and productive development.
