Biography
Parliamentary Advisor for Economic Affairs and Energy
Tobias Kopf (born March 21, 1992) is a German public policy professional specializing in economic policy. Since 2025, he has served as Advisor for Economic and Energy Policy to the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group in the German Bundestag (Federal Parliament), where he coordinates parliamentary proceedings and advises Members of Parliament on economic and energy legislation. Previously, he represented the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Baden-Württemberg at the state’s representation in Berlin, negotiating and coordinating the state government’s positions with other Länder and federal ministries within the Bundesrat (Federal Council), particularly in the Committee on Economic Affairs. He also worked in public affairs consulting, focusing on European and national regulatory policy.
He holds an MSc in Public Policy & Administration from the London School of Economics and a degree in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Mannheim.
