Biography
Civil Engineer. Graduated from Sakarya University, Department of Civil Engineering. Completed a master’s degree in International Relations and Political Science at Kingston University in the UK. Earned a second master’s in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of London/King’s College and attended the International Relations program at the University of Cambridge.
During his university years, he served as President of the Engineering Faculty Association. After the founding of the AK Party, he served as a member of the Istanbul Youth Branch Provincial Executive Board and Deputy Provincial Chair. In 2009 he became Istanbul Provincial Chair of the Youth Branch. After three years, he went abroad for education. In September 2014 he became Prime Minister’s Advisor and in October 2014 was appointed Deputy Minister of Health. He was elected Istanbul MP in the 25th, 26th and 27th terms and later served as AK Party Deputy Chair responsible for organization.
