Biography
Director of Budget Department, Grand National Assembly of Türkiye
Mr. Mehmet Ali Meydanlı began his professional career at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT) in 2008 as an Assistant Legislative Expert at Plan and Budget Committee, parliamentary standing committee. Following the completion of his legislative expertise thesis and qualification examinations, he was appointed as a Legislative Expert.
Between 2014 and 2016, he served as an Internal Auditor within the Parliament. From 2016 to 2023, he held the position of Deputy Head of the Budget Department, providing expertise assistance to Plan and Budget Committee. Since 2023, he has been serving as Head of the Budget Department.
He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and Public Administration.
Mr. Meydanlı has published articles in academic journals on various topics, presented papers at international conferences and contributed to academic book editorship projects.
