Biography
Economist. Graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, and earned an MA in Development Finance from the University of Birmingham (UK). Held senior positions at the State Planning Organization, including Head of Annual Programs and Financing, Deputy Director General of Economic Planning, and Deputy Undersecretary. Served as Vice Chair of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency and Undersecretary of Treasury. Wrote on economic policy and lectured as guest faculty. Director at TÜSİAD-Koç University Economic Research Forum. MP for Tekirdağ in the 23rd–27th terms. Holds leadership roles in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, currently Chair of the Economics and Security Committee and Treasurer.
