Biography
She is a Senator of the Republic representing the state of Sonora in the LXVI Legislature of the Congress of the Union, where she serves as Chair of the Mining Commission. She holds a degree in Tourism Business Administration from CESUES, and master’s degrees in Democracy and Parliament from UNAM and the University of Salamanca, as well as in Public Administration from ISAP. She has served as Federal Deputy in three legislatures and has held key leadership roles, including Chair of the Migratory Affairs Commission. Her public service also includes serving as Head of the Sonora DIF System. Her legislative work focuses on promoting inclusive growth, strengthening democratic institutions, advancing human rights, and supporting sustainable and equitable development.
