Biography
Albana Vokshi is a Member of the Albanian Parliament since 2009 and Vice Chair of the Committee on Europe and Foreign Affairs, as well as member of Albania’s delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). She serves on the ad hoc Committee on Electoral Reform in Albania and chairs the Electoral Committee of the Democratic Party. She is Vice President of EPP Women and President of the Democratic Women’s League of Albania. A long-standing parliamentarian, she has led key committees on Health, Education and Social Welfare and chaired the 2024 Inquiry Commission on health PPPs. She has consistently advocated for women’s and girls’ rights, children’s protection, quality healthcare and education, proposing resolutions both in the Albanian Parliament and within the EPP. She holds an MPA from Columbia University and previously worked with USAID and UNDP. Fluent in English and Italian, she is the mother of two daughters.
