Biography

LAWYER - PHD CRIMINAL SCIENCES - MP Stathis Konstantinidis, 57, is a Member of Parliament for the New Democracy party, representing the Kozani constituency. Holding a law degree and a PhD in Criminal Sciences, he has practiced law for nearly three decades at the Supreme Court level. He was first elected in July 2019 and was re-elected in the successive elections of May and June 2023. From June 2023 to June 2024, he served as Deputy Minister of Interior for Macedonia and Thrace. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Special Permanent Committee on Road Safety. Additionally, he is a member of the Standing Committee on National Defense and Foreign Affairs, the Standing Committee on Public Administration, Public Order and Justice, the Special Standing Committee on Armament Programs and Contracts, and the Special Permanent Committee on Institutions and Transparency. He is married and the father of two children.
