Description
Pilar Bueno Rubial is a Doctor in International and holds a Master's degree in Human Environmental Systems. She is a researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) in Argentina and a professor of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in International Relations and Environmental Studies at different universities in South America. With 20 years of experience, she has been deeply involved in climate change negotiations, focusing on adaptation strategies within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Pilar is the Executive Director of Argentina 1.5ºC. Her leadership in the field extends to her past role as Argentina's Secretary of Climate Change, and Undersecretary of Climate Change for the city of Rosario.
