Description
Katja Mast currently serves as Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and First Parliamentary State Secretary of the Social Democratic Parliamentary Group.
Prior to her current role, she held the position of Deputy Chair of the Social Democratic Parliamentary Group in the German Bundestag. Before that, she acted as policy spokesperson for labour and social affairs of the Social Democratic Parliamentary Group, and simultaneously acted as Chairwoman of the Baden-Württemberg regional group.
In previous functions, she was Secretary-General of the Social Democratic Party in Baden-Württemberg as well as Officer for Human-Resource Strategy at Deutsche Bahn AG. Since her election to the Bundestag in 2005, she has been a continuous member of the federal parliament.
