Eric Rowe is a Senior IT Specialist in Canada Revenue Agency’s Criminal Investigations Directorate, working principally in the field of cryptocurrency and virtual asset investigations, as well as Artificial Intelligence implementation. His responsibilities include tracing cryptocurrency and virtual asset transactions for investigators, conducting intelligence and operational liaison work with foreign partners, training investigators and digital forensics analysts, and representing Canada as a delegate on cryptocurrency and virtual asset working groups at the OECD and the FATF. Eric holds a M.Sc. in digital forensics, a M.Sc. in digital currency, and advanced certificates in blockchain law, digital regulation, and decentralized finance.
