Description
Leo has a long career in Media and Information Literacy, research and development in higher education, teacher education and sustainable development both in the developing and developed country context. Currently he is the Deputy Director of the National Audiovisual Institute of Finland and the Head of its Media Education and Audiovisual Media Department, a government authority under the Ministry of Education and Culture. His main tasks are the promotion and coordination of media education at a national level. He is also the highest authority in classification of audiovisual programmes (age ratings).
