Description

Marion Jansen is the Director of the Trade and Agriculture Directorate at the OECD. Prior to joining the OECD, she was chief economist at the International Trade Centre and held senior positions in the World Trade Organization and the International Labour Office. Marion Jansen holds a PhD in economics from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona). She has published widely on international trade and global economic governance, and has conducted research on food safety standards, skills gaps in the agriculture sector and co-edited the volume “Shared Harvests: Agriculture, Trade and Employment” by ILO and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
