Description
Josephine Macharia is a transport policy analyst at the ITF. Her work at the ITF is at the intersection of decarbonisation and equity, exploring policies that can support both goals. Before joining the ITF, Josephine came from a transportation planning background and had experience working in urban transport, developing service and infrastructure plans for various municipalities in Canada. Josephine holds a Masters in Cities Engineering and Management from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor’s in Urban Planning from the University of Waterloo.
