Senior Counsellor & Head of Financing for Sustainable Development Division, Development Co-operation Directorate
Mr. Haje Schütte is Senior Counsellor & Head of Financing for Sustainable Development Division of the OECD Development Co-operation Directorate. His work focuses on how to address the dual challenges at the core of the 2030 Agenda, i.e. mobilising unprecedented volumes of resources, and leaving no-one behind. Haje oversees the provision of data, standards as well as policy analysis and guidance to OECD Members, the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) and other stakeholders, in support of an integrated and holistic view of all development finance flows required for reaching global development goals. Previously, Haje held management positions at the German KfW Group, and has worked with the ILO. He holds an Executive Masters from HEC Paris/Saïd Business School Oxford; graduate degrees in economics from the London School of Economics, and the Freie Universität Berlin, and in development studies from the German Development Institute.
