Description

Paola Brenes Rojas is a Costa Rican expert in Agricultural Sciences with a Master’s in Natural Resource Management. Since 2017, she has served as a territorial planning specialist at Costa Rica’s National Institute of Housing and Urban Development (INVU), where she focuses on integrating environmental and agricultural criteria into land-use plans, particularly in rural areas. Her work includes developing methodologies for soil productivity assessment, supporting municipalities in rural planning, and promoting sustainable territorial policies. With over 15 years of experience, she also teaches at UNED and contributes to national and international efforts in soil conservation and climate change adaptation.
