Cristóbal Escalona is a sustainable development and innovation professional with over eight years of experience in social innovation, B-Corps, and impact investing. He is passionate about creating scalable and profitable solutions for rural communities. He currently serves as Managing Director at Fundación Acción Colectiva. Previously, at Balloon Latam, he directed the Social Innovation department, developing new social interventions and programs for rural communities , and led the Balloon Lab innovation hub, creating "rural-first" sustainable start-ups. He also served as a Business Specialist at güil Mobility Ventures, helping to create and invest in mobility ventures. His experience includes work as a Senior Associate for The Pew Charitable Trusts' Chilean Patagonia Project. He holds diplomas in Impact Investing and Design, Innovation and Technology.
