Getting to Moncton

Moncton is centrally located in Atlantic Canada and easy to reach by air, car, or train.
Below are the most common travel options for both domestic and international attendees.

✈️ By Air
Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport (YQM) offers direct flights from major Canadian cities such as Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa. For international travelers, we recommend connecting through:
• Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ)
• Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL)
Ensure you have the necessary travel documents to enter Canada — including a valid passport and, if applicable, a visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).

If you're flying into a nearby regional airport, Moncton is an easy and scenic drive:

• Saint John Airport (YSJ) – approx. 1.5 hours / 150 km
Car rentals and bus service are available at all major airports, and highways are well-maintained.

VIA Rail’s Ocean Line runs three times per week between Halifax and Moncton.
• Duration: approx. 4 hours 15 minutes
• Distance: ~304 km
• A comfortable and scenic option for travelers within the region.
