Luka Juvančič is agricultural and resource economist, and Associate Professor of Economics of Natural Resources at the Biotechnical Faculty. The range of his research and professional expertise is varied and spans from the economic and management issues in agriculture and agricultural policy, economic valuation of ecosystem services in agriculture and forestry, to social issues related to various aspects of agriculture and food. Recently, he is intensively engaging with economic and policy aspects of the cascading use of biomass through the principle of circular economy, better known as bioeconomy.
