Ragnhildur is a biologist and holds a master’s degree in marine environmental management. She has worked as a project manager in domestic and European research and educational projects, focused on the impacts of climate change on the marine environment, the seafood industry and coastal communities in Europe. In her role at the Icelandic Regional Development Institute, she has focused her work on getting climate adaptation on the agenda for Icelandic municipalities, particularly for coastal communities. Ragnhildur works with domestic stakeholders throughout Iceland towards strengthening the country’s rural innovation ecosystem.
