Description
Calum Iain was appointed Depute Chief Executive of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar (Western Isles Council) in 2022. That role entails leading and directing a range of services including Planning; Strategic Housing; Economic and Community Development and Corporate Policy relating to Energy, Net Zero, Digital and Assets, Property and Infrastructure. Prior to this he was Director for Development at the Comhairle for 10 years; a post that directed and managed a diverse portfolio of Council functions.
