Description
Helena Rey has been working at UNEP’s Economy Division since 2005. She works at the Consumption and Production Unit and is responsible for mainstreaming sustainable consumption and production patterns in tourism value chains. She represents UNEP at the multi advisory committee programme on sustainable tourism within the 10 Years Framework Programme on Sustainable Consumption and Production and manage the tourism portfolio within UNEP. She currently manages the project Transforming Tourism Value Chains to Lower GHG emissions in Small Islands Development States. Ms. Rey has more than 15 years’ experience working as a project manager in South America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa.
