Dr. Morikawa joined Iberostar in early 2018 and leads a strong sustainability team along with Gloria Fluxà, who is part of the company’s fourth generation leadership and ownership, in scientific-driven actions for a sustainable ocean economy and responsible tourism model. Megan received her Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, from Duke University, received her PhD at Stanford, where she conducted research on how to prepare coral reefs for climate change.
