Dr. Julien Durand is Sanofi’s Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer. Prior to Sanofi, he held numerous senior compliance and technology positions at Takeda, Amgen and AstraZeneca, spanning various continents.
Julien is active at industry and healthcare ecosystem level, fostering a culture of responsible innovation as Expert to WHO on Digital Health, Chair of IFPMA Future Health Technologies and Bioethics WGs, and Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Health Tech Ventures.
Julien holds an MBA from University of Cambridge, a PhD in engineering from CentraleSupelec, an LLM from ISC, and studied artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies at MIT.
