Description
Tarek Mounir Shash has more than 30 years of extensive experience in the development of micro, small and medium enterprises, international relations and resources mobilization, human resources development, policy development and setting strategies, programs, regulations and related business procedures.
In his capacity as the Deputy Executive Director of MSMEDA he oversees the whole Agency’s activities to achieve its objectives in developing the MSME sector in Egypt. His work includes ensuring the smooth operation of all activities and delivery of high quality financial and non-financial services to the end beneficiary, the collaboration with international and local public/private sector service providers and entities to improve the eco system that support the development of MSME sector in Egypt.
He is a board member in one of the leading companies in the field of microfinance in Egypt (Reefy) and heads the investment committee within MSMEDA, the executive regulation committee of the new MSME law, in addition to his membership of other important committees within MSMEDA such as the high credit committee, HR committee and senior management committee.
