Description

Isabelle Magne works at the European Commission, DG International Partnerships, in the Trade, Investment Climate, Entrepreneurship and Value Chains thematic unit, where she is Head of Sector in charge of value chains, including critical raw materials, in the unit. She joined the Africa Directorate of DG INTPA in December 2019, after being a member of the Cabinet of Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström. After several years in the French administration based in Paris (Directorate-General for the Treasury), Turkey (Deputy Head of the French Embassy’s Economic Service) and then at the Permanent Representation of France to the European Union, she joined the European External Action Service (EEAS) in the Global and Economic Issues department and then the European Commission. She graduated from the Institute for Political Studies in Aix-En-Provence and a master’s degree in economics.
