Description
Hanna Dóra has over 20 years of experience as a government official in Iceland, with a broad portfolio spanning regional development, industry, innovation, energy, education, and creative sectors. She has led strategic planning for regional and rural affairs at the Ministry of Industries and Innovation and has represented Iceland on the OECD RDPC since 2015, as well as the regional committee in the Nordic Council of Ministers. She has extensive international cooperation experience through her roles in EU programmes (e.g., CIP, Northern Periphery), the Nordic Council of Ministers, and as a negotiator in Iceland’s EU accession negotiations. Hanna Dóra serves on the National Council for Regional Development and supports vertical strategic coordination on Regional Policy with local authorities. Her academic background includes business administration, international affairs, public administration, leadership and crisis management.
