• Multi-level and cross-sectoral coordination tasks at federal level in Austria in the field of spatial and regional development policies at European, transnational, cross-border, national and regional levels
• Various tasks in the implementation of EU Cohesion policy / EU Regional funds program¬mes in Austria since 1995
• National spatial development strategies in Austria (being a federal country); e.g. at Austrian conference on spatial planning (ÖROK)
• Austrian National coordinator for the implementation of the EU Strategy for Danube region since 2009; managing for Austria several EU Interreg-cooperation with countries in Central- and South-East-Europe
• Involvment in specific cooperation projects supporting EU-accession process in South-East Europe / Western Balcans; incl. Short-term Twinning in Montenegro
