Civil Engineer with specializations in Project Management and Public Administration, currently pursuing a Master's degree in Government. He has over 15 years of experience in the public sector, with a strong background in territorial planning, infrastructure management, and technical support for local and regional communities.
As Executive Director of the PAP De La Paz, he leads strategic coordination among member municipalities, represents the organization before national and international institutional stakeholders, and promotes a vision of sustainable regional development. His main responsibilities include inter-institutional coordination, territorial development management, and strengthening regional governance.
He has held key positions in various municipalities within the department of Antioquia, including Secretary of Planning in San Pedro de Urabá, Deputy Secretary of Infrastructure in Apartadó, Director of Public Works in La Pintada, and advisor on territorial planning and project structuring.
Under his leadership at PAP, he has advanced numerous initiatives focused on sustainable development and environmental protection, such as reforestation programs in water recharge areas, installation of wastewater treatment systems in rural homes, release of native species for ecological restoration, distribution of eco-efficient stoves, and promotion of best agricultural practices with an emphasis on water conservation and the sustainability of natural resources.
